Consortium For Black Health Research And Clinical Trials
Consortium for Black Health Research and Clinical Trials
What Is The Purpose of The Consortium
The broadly practiced approach to medical research and clinical trials in this country has been to focus on the majority population, and then try to retrofit how the findings affect minority populations of black and brown people. This approach is both too time-consuming and ineffective.
For example, when researchers want to understand why people living in so-called “blue zones” have a longer life expectancy, researchers go to those geographical areas to determine from those relatively small populations what they can learn about why their longevity is longer.
The consortium is an extension platform for other consortium relationships, collaborations, and partnerships with an emphasis on Black Health and Clinical trials that can enhance their outcomes in the search for preventions, treatments, and cures.
This platform encourages and provides the capacity for awareness of projects, connecting on interest, enhancing and advancing progress, exploring collaborations, and visual conferencing while sharing intellect, resources, and the vision for preventions, treatments, and cures Coin Strike.
The current approach to medical research needs to be rethought – especially when it comes to the health of the black population. The Consortium for Black Health Research and Clinical Trials is emphasizing the inclusion of those who actually suffer the greatest health burden. Instead of the outdated strategy of trying to pull findings from the “general” population then trying to pull them onto minority populations, the consortium offers a different path – direct and active outreach to actual affected communities. It’s not just logical, it’s scientifically sound.
When it comes to preventing and treating addictions like gambling addiction, the approach should be just as targeted. The psychology of gambling and addiction prevention is an important topic that affects many people, especially those in vulnerable groups. Excessive gambling addiction can lead to devastating consequences. This is the subject of the link –
epochtimes.de– which addresses the issues of habit formation, recognizing the early signs of addiction and resilience in the context of gambling.
Both medicine and behavioral psychology require engagement and targeted focus. Initiatives such as those developed by the Consortium for Black Health Research and Clinical Trials and research on the psychology of games have in common: the desire to reduce the consequences of risk through awareness, targeting and understanding of vulnerable groups.
